The Artemist is an Art Consultation platform catering to art requirements for homes, offices, hospitality and events. We create, curate and commission paintings, murals, digital prints, sculptures and installations as per requirements of spaces and prices.
We strive to bridge the gap between the buyer and the artist or art seller by understanding our customer’s requirements, their emotions and the mood they want to create in their spaces by customizing our services accordingly.
Our aim is to provide a reliable and seamless experience throughout the art commissioning process and we focus on authenticity and quality of the artworks. Buying art is a beautiful journey and we want to enhance our clients experience by adding the personal touch and making it meaningful.
About the founder
Aradhana Dalmia has been inclined towards art since childhood. Her formal training in art has been imparted world’s most renowned colleges like Chelsea College of Art and Design, London, Manchester School of Art, Manchester and Sotheby’s Institute of Art, New York. She is an artist herself and launched her series of chromatic explosion paintings called Luminous just after graduating from college. It is an indigenous project hoping to innovate in the oil painting art space.
Alongside paintings she also explored other creative avenues like photography, art therapy, pottery and glass sculpting. Conducting workshops in photography and art therapy at different art studios in Kolkata was a great experience for her and made her realize how much she loved educating and guiding people. She naturally followed the path towards art consulting which was instinctive and led to the birth of The Artemist in November 2016.
The Artemist manages exemplary commissions to ensure that the best art is selected for their client’s project, helping to create a distinctive place to live, work and visit. They provide expert advice through all stages of the consulting process: from developing artist briefs, selecting artists, planning and project management, to installation and promotion of the artwork.
Aradhana shares her future plan and says, “I have a vision for my company to be globally present for anything and everything related to buying, selling and commissioning of art. I would like to collaborate with the best architects and interior designers and be a part of their design journey. My dream is to promote artists ranging from an indigenous artist to the world famous ones, making art accessible for all.’

4 Artists, 2 Graphic Designers, Creative Head and our Founder and CEO working out of our studio.
Aradhana , Founder and CEO, says ‘I was fortunate to find an extremely talented bunch of artists through the tight knit creative community when they were graduating from their Fine Art colleges. My design team was built through recommendations and sieving through online applications. My Creative Head, Ravina was pure luck or as I like to call it, my destiny. Fun fact about our team is that we are all 30 years and under, making us an energetic lot!’
